What happens in a typical session?

You're guided in simple movements, either stood, sat or lying down fully clothed. I'll help you to unwind muscle tension and stress by using gentle movements to free up the head and spine.

Sessions aren't painful and there's nothing physically demanding. I'll check your posture and movement patterns and use my hands, gently placing them on your neck, back and limbs to help you learn an easier and more pleasant way to move.

You'll be gently guided to encourage a release of restrictive muscular tension, and you'll learn how to apply this for yourself. At the start, you're usually urged to come for sessions fairly frequently - twice weekly for two weeks is great, and then weekly after that for a while.

This is because this new approach to movement is unfamiliar at first and needs a little help to become established - this can be discussed as you call me for your initial session.
